About Us

Sorelle d'Italia in America is a non-profit organization established in 2010 and based out of Southington, CT. Our mission is centered around empowering women, preserving Italian heritage and traditions while fostering community through service and support.  

Our core values are centered around our guiding principles, which include: 

• Heritage Preservation - celebrating and upholding Italian traditions, language and culture for future generations. 

• Community Engagement - actively serving and supporting our local community through charitable initiatives and outreach.

• Empowerment - fostering a supportive environment that empowers women of all ages to connect, learn, and lead. 

• Collaboration - working together as members and with local organizations to enhance our impact and strengthen bonds within our community.
